Your inner child is the child-like aspect of yourself. When we talk about doing inner child healing we’re looking at exploring our unmet needs as a young person tapping into a vulnerable and impressionable part of ourselves. Checking in with your inner child is part of healing along the way as new and familiar patterns arise in our adult life.

Not only does our inner child hold emotions, memories, and beliefs from the past but it also holds hopes and dreams for the future. Connecting to that dreamer and hopeful part of ourselves is something that can get lost along the way as we face challenges and losses putting us into survival mode.
